Second Life
A couple of years ago I found another life. Its called Second Life. It can be a real time consumer and its addicting. Its a different kind of game. I hesitate to call it a game because it really is more of a second life.
Though I found this other life a couple of years ago, I didn’t participate in it, except for a couple of days. Jessie couldn’t play, she kept loosing connection. I didn’t have time, I was busy with other things. So I put it on the back burner.
In my second life, I’m still learning who I will be. I think my character will be a blend of my real life and my second life.
People generally find clubs they like to go to hang out and meet people. Make some friends. Hopefully make the right friends.
Second life has its own economy, called Linden dollars. I think one Linden dollar is about .001 US dollar but I could have that wrong. I’m new to the game so I have a lot wrong.
You can buy land, develop it and keep it for yourself or sell it to others. You can get various jobs in second life. You can build buildings or design and create clothing.
Its kind of hard for me to not see it as a way to make money. Its easy also even easier for me to see how to loose money. So I’m playing to have fun. It started as a distraction to help me give up my cigars and it was working well until I lost my internet connection and went into nicotine fit status. :(

It may take some time to find others but if you contact me, I can give you some pointers to help you get started and to find others. A big club is to right click on and the click touch people and signs. Don’t hesitate to ask for help!
Its a pretty massive game. There’s usually 40,000 people online when I get on. As I type this article, the system is having problems and logins have been disabled while they work to solve the issues.

You know, “Second Life” should really be called “Third Life” as your life in the Philippines would be your real-life adventure.
