We woke up this morning to the sound of a sudden power loss. That followed up with a phone call about two hours later. This was adding salt to the wound. We’ve had no phone nor Internet connection for a week. We get our Internet back and boom, we have no power.
I don’t know if this happens every month, but for the last two months, power has been cut off to Bogo City. This is common in the Philippines when there is not enough power to go around or at least that is what the Filipino I know tell me.
This is of course, increasing my desire to get a generator. We would have had one, well, maybe… We almost had a deal worked out with someone to buy all their stuff which included a generator. It would have been a good deal for me but the seller said I insulted him so I didn’t get it. Kind of a sore point but oh well, life goes on.
Anyway, it looks like this power off on the first Sunday of the month may be a recurring thing. I’m in the mood to use it as an excuse to get a motor. I want that 125CC Honda but I need to research it some more. I need to wait. At least two more months.
