A Day or Rest or a Day of Waste?
I am going down the Pizza Pub soon, barely going to have time to write this story. I want to get an Eee PC or whatever they are called so I can work while I goof off. :)
I always am torn between staying home and working on my web sites. I’m making about $100 a month of them now. Significant money for the Philippines. My goal is $500. I know someone making $2K with his, more
than $2K. I’ll be happy with $500 as that would be $500 spending money and that’s a lot of having fun money in the Philippines.
I’m in the process of writing my first book, I need to finish it and get it out but I think I’m a bit insecure about doing it. I’ll just have to do it. I often think of this song when I’m headed out, though it is a sad song, I just take the happy part. Everyone should likely waste some time, even when they do have purpose in their life.
Sitting on the dock of the bay
Watching the tide roll away
I’m just sitting on the dock of the bay
Wasting time
That’s from Ottis Redding’s song, “Sitting On The Dock Of The Bay.” Its nice to turn it into a happy song. There was a time, it was my life and it no longer is. Just the happy part where I waste the time away, flirting with Filipina as they walk past. Their eyes say it all but most of the time, they’re really just bluffing as they are so shy. Wonderful, but shy. That’s a good way to think of Filipina.
When living in the Philippines, I think it is important to participate in the culture of the islands. And part of that is having fun in the philippines. One way Filipino do this is to just goof off. :)
