Leave the US and Say Good-Bye to Freedom of Speech
It is important to remember that when you leave the US and visit or live in a foreign country it is important to know and follow the rules of the country that you are visiting. When you travel you are generally still subject to US law but while you’re in the foreign country it is that countries laws that you are obligated to follow.
One of the freedoms you give up in the Philippines and I suspect many other countries is “freedom of speech.” The Philippine government has been warning tourist and expats that participating in mass protest are grounds for deportation and blacklisting you from returning to the country.
