I’m not hiding! My Internet has been down for a few days so I’m cut off from the world. Everything is fine. Just wanted to let anyone looking for me why they can’t reach me. Jessie is sitting beside me imitating our monkey trying to catch a fly with her hand. Yep, all is normal. This is why I now call her Georgette at times.
I am at a cafe because I had to order my meds. I had hopped to get them locally this time but it cost more than paying getting it through the states and shipping here. This is going to be a problem and some of the meds I take are not available here. I know someone that gets his meds from India. I’ll have to ask him more about that. I also have to stop putting off the doctors.
I have no dial tone at all and it may be a week before anyone comes out and checks it. So for now, i wait.

I’m 100% Southern and consider that to be a good thing. I’m sorry for the people that don’t understand.
I grew up in Jackson, Mississippi where I went to Jim Hill High School and Millsaps College. I worked several jobs while going to college but most often could be found behind the counter at good old “Speed-E Food.” One of the most fun jobs I ever had, because of the people that lived in South Jackson.
After college, I went to work for the IRS as a Revenue Agent. I loved it and I was good at it but my health fell apart. I had to take a position of as a Functional Automation Coordinator, which was fancy Government speak for Computer Analyst.
I finally came to my senses. Decided working wasn’t a good idea for me and applied for disability. It was granted. As soon as I was shed of my responsibilities in the states, I flew to the Philippines to find out what was out there.
What I found here has been awesome, its not perfect here but I have much more of a life here than I could have in the USA. It is just too costly to live in the US for me. Don’t get me wrong, I love the USA. I miss it too. I wonder what it will feel like when I get back.
