PC’s Dead, Making me Nuts

With too little money to do as I please and no PC at home, I’ve been going nuts.  I finally decided I had to go some place even if it was hot.  I had planned to walk down to the park after visiting the Internet Cafe until I got done what I needed to do.  But now, four hours later, I’m no where near finished and I’m still going strong.

The Internet Cafe I usually go to had lost their internet connection so we tried another.  This one is better.  As far as I know there are two Internet Cafe’s in Bogo City.  We have been going to Internet Cool Zone but the last time I went it was too hot to stay.

This time we are at a different one, just a few steps down and it is cooler and they have better machines.  Though my connection is a little flakey it is getting the job done and I’ll probably come here more often.  The fee is only 15p per hour.  I will get the name and post it here in case there are any expats passing through that might be interested.  I also don’t know the name of the street.  Street signs tend to be rare but I’ll try to find out the name of the street too.

I’m still alive and well but I really need a PC or I may loose my mind.  I was trying to save to get Jessie a new and fast PC but with the new developments, I will have to hope her CPU is still good and upgrade her motherboard.  That too will have to wait until at least next month.

I’m loosing interest in the idea of buying a motor here on credit.  We purchased around 80,000 Php worth of furniture and appliances when we moved to Bogo City.  But once we are finished paying it off over 18 months the cost will be 185,000 Php and we only financed about 40,000Php.  That’s some really stout interest.  I’ve got to double check my numbers, and I can’t because all the information is on my dead PC. :)

Jessie found a website to help us take the notebook apart, glad she found it.  We would have started wrong but we still don’t have the right size screw drivers.  I think it may just need a new fan but the CPU may be dead too.

My Cebu Experience site isn’t growing fast enough for me so I think I’ll start posting more info related to my walks and experiences there.
