Visit to Chong Hua Hospital Planned

Looks like I’m headed to the Chong Hua Hospital in Cebu City, Philippines once again!  I was really hoping to escape this and I still might with a little luck.  Doesn’t sound like it though, will likely be in early October.  I’ll be in for 2 to 3 days IF they don’t find anything wrong.

I hope they find a little something that they can fix and make me feel better.  I was going great up until the first part of August.  Since then, I’ve been feeling pretty rough.

It sounds like that all is taken care of now except working out the payment.  I wonder how much it is going to cost me.  Probably just $100 but it is $100 I don’t have.  I suppose I’ll have to do without something to make it happen.

A hospital room here cost about the same as a hotel room.  But he wants to do a hoard of test so that is the part that is going to be expensive.  I’m concerned that I’ll have a co-pay for each doctor.  I really don’t know what to expect.  The insurance company is saving so much money with my being here that it seems like they would do away with my co-pays but guess what, NO WAY.  That’s wishful thinking on my part.  There is no way that is going to happen.  It really isn’t surprising, living in the Philippines with health issues has always been a concern.

My doctor is Dr. Duyongco, he seems competent and Chong Hua is a highly regarded hospital.  He is a likable man.  Interested in photography.  the doctor that shares an office with him is an excellent photographer.

I hope it does some good, I’m tired of feeling crappy and it is putting a damper on my fun and holding me back on walking as well.  Sometimes I try to walk anyway as it can help me feel better.  It seems to help stop my skin from burning.  I’m having a lot of trouble recently with what seems to be my gall bladder but I’m hesitant to call it that because there’s nothing wrong with my gall bladder per the test.
