Had a fever earlier today, feel like its worse now but Jessie’s hands feel warmer than my forehead so I suppose I don’t. Sure feels like it. My face burns as if I have a sun burn but I didn’t go out during the day yesterday. I did go down to the BBQ by the Bay yesterday.
I can’t connect to my FaceBook, nor my MySpace account. My connection must not be feeling well either.
I also have that taste of metal in my mouth that I sometimes get. Not very pleasant. I guess I’m having a full blown lupus day.
The weather has gone totally wonderful again. Well Jessie told me my weather was back. She told me that when I woke up this afternoon. Maybe she was trying to get me to go out. I would have if I had realized it but not up to it now.
We’re nearly out of money but we are nearly out of the month too so we are not in bad shape at all.
But I’m not really up to writing right now, I think I’ll lay back down. Just wanted to let everyone know I’m still alive but I can’t connect to Facebook at the moment.
Definitely a lupus type day, I’m lucky though, I don’t have many of these any more. The fever without being sick is a bit alarming. I’ve not done that in a long time.

Laid down for a while and I feel fine. :) Typical
Take care my arch-nemesis.
I’m fine. I use to have fevers everyday, low grade. Most of the time just a minor annoyance unless they get over 100 I could work through them. Glad I stopped pushing that hard. I hope I’m up to walking today.
Hi Rusty – Take care of yourself! I hope that you continue feeling better.
Hi Rusty, I hope you’re feeling better by this time. A fever in the tropics always seems to feel worse than in a cooler place. It’s a drag that you have to deal with these nagging health issues, but at least you tend to rise above it. I was thinking– what do you think about taking a good multivitamin every day. It’s not a big deal, but it might help a little bit. Take care, Queen
Yesterday was actually worse. Fevers were worse, then the power went out so I went to Jollibee. I had a good day yesterday but I had low grade fevers.
Went to see the Bonsai master up the hill from me, he gave me another tree, taught us a little. I will take my other trees up to him so I will know what it is we have.
He says to water every day, that seems like too much but I’ll do what he says, he’s the one with 100′s of trees. :)
Queenie, I’m addicted to aircon. :) If things don’t get better, I’ll start antibiotics.
Vitamins can be a problem, they can be full of sugar! I have to find some that have no sugar which probably means I’d have to import them. I should probably completely stop the beer because of the diabetes. Unable to take blood sugar for two months, it could be out of control, nothing deadly just make me feel bad.
My internet was bad last night, couldn’t get on the site to post. Don’t really feel like posting a lot but I made a long post on http://www.cebuexperience.com this morning with pictures, mostly pictures from yesterday.
Hey Rusty, That’s too bad… I hope you feel better soon. Good luck with the trees–maybe if you put them in a clear spot out where they’re visible you’ll be reminded to water them. I didn’t know about the sugar in vitamins. I’ll go look at your pictures. Take a rest now, the aircon will make you sleep better.
I haven’t forgot to water them, that’s just a lot more often than I thought they would need watering. Plants in the states usually need watering once a week or once a month. Doing it every day risk root rot. It goes against my nature to do that so often. he gave us a booklet too. I’ll be picking up my glasses next week. I’ll try to read it then. LOL
The fevers got worse, not real bad, just an annoyance, low grade energy sapping, nothing more.
Hi again Rusty, I couldn’t seem to link to your pics but that’s not unusual for a computer idiot! There was nothing in my little link box. Anyway, just wanted to say I love Jollibee too, although I don’t get there too often, I love their spaghetti and chicken joy. I have a tattoo of Jolibee on my knee–the kids love it!
Queenie here is the link. Got some antibiotics. You see there is a Bikini contest at the Virgin Beach Resort on Sunday, I need to get well. Its a cultural thing, you see. Actually it is. They are going to have Filipino type music and lechon and other things to eat. Jessie really wants to go so I’ll do my best. It is during the day though, it may just be too much sun for me. :(
LOL I forgot the Link:

That doesn’t sound like an event that you’d want to miss–all those cultural bikinis! Seriously though, I know that the heat and sun of the daytime can be taxing for you.
LOL yea I like those cultural bikini events… But this time it really does include some culture. I think this contest will be pretty laid back. The guy throwing it started a church here too but seems the preacher didn’t stay for the full year and it went down in flames.
I hope I’m up to going. They will have some Filipino food and music too. but I also used the cultural excuse when they had one at the local disco. :) Love that culture….
