Photography
I have had a strong interest in photography since my Junior year in high school. Actually before that but that was when I read a book about photography and fell in love with the subject.
I usually underestimate my pictures, at least I think I do. I’ll see a picture I took and not like it much, then I’ll see it a few months later and go wow, that is a nice picture. Then I find out it is mine. I took it.
I don’t have the equipment I need but then I don’t know how to fully use what I have, at least I don’t’ think so. I’m getting a lot more practice in lately but I need to find some new places to go. I can always take more and more pictures of people. but I also need new places. The funds have kept me from that. On the other hand, I can walk past a place several times and see something I’ve never seen before and find a new picture in a place I’ve been many times. Perhaps I find a new place in an old place.
I would love to have a dark room and work with real film but much of what I have on the computer gives me that dark room and enables me to enjoy Photography more than I ever dreamed possible way back in my junior year in high school and my paper on Photography.
