This month you have two way of looking at pictures. You can look at them inline to this post or scroll to the bottom and click the link to open them if new page. With the link at the bottom, you’ll be able to see larger pictures if you wish.
Last month we joined Beth, our ya ya and the kids at the BBQ by the seaside. It was Beth’s birthday. I took some pictures there. Jermain and Jason love their BBQ hotdogs! We took Jason another time too. I was surprised he went. He had the chance to go to Beth’s house and Beth has a son that is Jason’s friend. I guess he wanted to spend time with his “maw.” I’ll have to make a point of going down there on the weekends and taking him with us.
I changed out my operating system this month. I’m no longer using Windows. Instead I’m using Linux. The version of Linux I’m using is Ubuntu. Most of the time, I’ve got all the software I use but Lightroom, the porgram I use to manage pictures with is one that I have not been able to get to work. That’s putting a crimp in my picture posting. I had hoped to find a Linux program I like just as much or more but that hasn’t happened yet. Most programs for Linux are free. Linux is free as well.
I’m making some changes on how I display pictures. Right now, I’m still using my old way to do it as well as a new way. A gallery within the picture page, this page. The pictures are smaller, that makes them faster. I like to see bigger pictures though. For now, I’m going to continue doing it both ways but that may very well change. I’m not sure yet.
In any case, the pictures for this month can be seen at this linke: Pictures of the Philippines for November 2008. Or you can see the smaller pics above.
