Bomb Iran
I don’t get it. What are we waiting for. We are going to war with Iran. The only hope we have of that not happening, would be that the Iranian people rise up against it. I think we’ve seen that fail. What opposition within Iran seems to have been quashed. I do think President Obama timed his tour to Muslim countries last year in hopes for a change in Iran. The change came but Iran, it appears, manipulated the election results.
The head of this snake is Iran and the head is alive, venomous and a killer. We need to kill the head.
Have you seen the lies that come out of the mouth of the Iranian president? I see him do interviews on Western TV shows and I can’t believe what comes out of his mouth. When he is cornered, he lies. Its obvious he is lying. When he is not admitting to wishing us harm, his answers make no sense. What I’ve seen him do is just not admit to anything. When asked about facts he will say something like “that is what you are saying.” He usually doesn’t deny he wants us destroyed, he just says things that make no sense in relation to the facts presented to him.
We know Iran was involved in the 911 attacks. Several of the attackers had obtained false travel documents via Iranian government. We know this.
They attacked us in Iraq. They provide the Taliban with assistance. They fund Al-Qaeda and they seek the destruction of Israel and attack it through its Hamas puppet. Hamas has fired rockets into Israel and Iran paid for those rockets. I can’t separate Hamas from Iran. Am I wrong? If so educate me.
From what I know now, the USA needs to declare war on Iran. We need to have SEAL teams and other special forces of
President Ahmadinejad of Iran
the USA in there causing havoc. What we don’t need to do is pretend that Iran can be dealt with on a rational level. They are set to destroy us. I don’t think most of the people of Iran want that and I don’t want to make the people of Iran hate us. For me, that’s the only reason not to go to war with that country. Well that and we are already spread thin.
I hate to send our young people into war. People will die. Both our people and innocent people in Iran but I don’t see any way around it. I don’t think it is if we will go to war with Iran, I think it is when. I don’t think we need to wait until they are stronger. Perhaps Iran already has nuclear weapons, if so, that’s why we can’t. They will use them on Israel. If the government was about to fall, they would wreak as much destruction upon Israel as they can.
Is it already too late? Is it that the other Arabic nations will not go along with it? We also can’t isolate ourselves from the rest of the Middle East. We also cannot let Iran obtain nuclear weapons. If it is already too late then its already too late.
I want to understand. I want to know why we continue to allow this country to be at war with us and have us sit there and take it. From what I see on the surface, that is what is happening. I would like to think we wouldn’t let them obtain nuclear weapons. I would like to know we know they don’t have them and we know what we need to do to stop it. However, we allowed North Korea to obtain them. That is absurd! Perhaps we had no choice. Perhaps we have no choice with Iran and I’m just too “green” to understand that. I know there is MUCH I don’t know.
What is happening now, I know, makes no sense to me. The USA has shown it is not a push over so I don’t think that is it. I don’t buy the paper tiger reputation we use to have. Reagan helped a lot to dispel that myth when he bombed Libya. Since then, we’ve been bombing too many people. I tend to think we are going for the legs though. I don’t want us to nuke, well I do, but only if we could get away with it and we cant. LOL no I dont, I mean the glass sand lot urges come but too many innocents.
I’m no military expert, far from it, maybe this isn’t a special forces war. Maybe they are already there, its very unlikely we’d know, well until they start killing people. Seems to me though, that’s the way to go. I don’t see that a stable Iran under its current government, is a good thing. Let them get in t here and unstable the place in small numbers. Maybe that will cause less hate toward us.
However, I think we used tactical nukes in Gulf War! Some people, that know what they are talking about, implied it.

Its easy for me to send in the guns blazing but will I say the same when the dead boys start coming back to America. I think so, yeah, so many times I hear they fight to protect out freedoms and too many times, I just don’t see how they are dying to protect my freedom. Too many times, it seems to be so someone else can grow up to hate us while we are trying to help them. Has The Afghan war turned into that? It started out a good causes, is it still? I don’t know. I wish I was smart enough to have all the answers.
Sometimes it seems we are fighting for pride. Not a good enough reason for Americans to die. Kicked their butts to protect our pride might feel good but the cost is too high. Don’t want my son dying for such.

This slide show tool I’m using is driving me nuts. I’ve been working with it for the last hour or so, trying to make it do what it is suppose to do. I’m getting fed up with it. Wonder if I can find something that actually works.
Too funny, but your right. We (USA) operate under three forums. Overt, Clandestine and Covert. I would suspect covert has been underway for some time, but what would I know. Isreal has been training for months on an operation to eliminate Iran’s threat for quite some time. Bank on it! It will indeed happen, when, is the ultimate question brother. As far as “tactical nukes in the Gulf” not likely, I was there as well. Alpha Company 1/1, Task Force Pappa Bear, US Marines.

PS- I lost my father to “agent orange” exposer when he served in Vietnam, he was 63 in March 2005. Born 17 April, 1941. I made a promise to myself I would not cut my hair until I rest my mind and soul from combat inflicted trauma I have endured. Can’t think of a better place than were I’m going!

Gulf war syndrome, sounds more like mild radiation sickness to me. There were a lot of bombs falling out of sight, even from you guys fighting it. Why do we say Saddam did it, we have plenty of experience making our own men sick. See agent orange.
I saw a lot of “experts” say we don’t want to fight Iran that it wont be like Iraq. They said the same thing about Iraq though. Course we bombed them from the air for months to soften them up a little.
I’m going to guess Iran wont bunch their soldiers up on the desert for us to make it so easy though. :) Instead they’ll put them in civilian areas and make us fight door to door. Much more of a mess that way. Generate a lot more hate toward the USA. Yes, no?

Isreal will protect itself at All costs, trust me on that one. Iran has learned a valuable lesson from Iraq and Afgan with our tactics, MOUT (Military Operations in Urban Terrain). No matter where you fight on this planet, the city is the worst. Especially in someone elses back yard. I have a question for you Rusty, name one country as young as us who have been engaged in more violence around this planet? I can’t seem to find one. Perhaps we should stop thinking we can fix everything and mind our own business. Our country is based on violence sad to say. Perhaps thats why Dumaguete looks better everyday. I don’t think we had any business being in IRAQ. Unless it is part of a plan to have bases in Afghanistan and Iraq to launch our war into Iran but we are pulling troops out. So I don’t know. Perhaps it gives us a foot hold to put them back in.
I don’t know the answer. We tried to isolate ourselves before WWII and that made things worse. Do we do nothing in the face of genocide or do we go kill in the name of love? I don’t know. In the past, we get drawn in, even if we try not too.
Were we wrong too go to into Afghanistan, i don’t think so. I think our distraction into Iraq caused us to neglect that situation. Or maybe the real intent has been to send Iran a message. I’m sure it has had that effect, even if it was not itnended..
Maybe there is just no way to avoid it..
I just thought of something that makes us different from most warring countries. Eventually, we pack up and leave. We generally do not try to hold onto the lands we go to war with. Rather than rule with force we tend to persuade with cash.
For a long time, I’ve thought Israel would prevent Iran from developing nukes. I hope that’s true. I hope we wouldn’t try to stop them. Israel can’t exist without us. They could put up a hell of a scrap but they couldn’t survive without us so that gives us a lot of power to control them. Often though, I think Israel and the US have their public spats while in the background we pat them on the back and say “atta boy”
Hottie? Man, a marine should never every use hottie when referring to me. LOL For that matter, neither should anyone else any more. Yeah, I call them the X1 and the X2 units. :) Just my way of getting in one last parting tiny little dig. :)
Found the X2 on Facebook the other day, she wouldn’t friend me. pout. LOL Never thought she would, I’m having way too much fun and the last time we spoke, it really was pissing her off.. I’m not kidding. She blocked me on some other chat program as I was telling her how much fun I was having. ;)
I have to disagree my friend. We still have several military bases in Japan, Germany and Korea. Hell the PM of Japan was forced to resign because he failed to keep a promise to the people of Okinawa, by moving US military out. How about places we go and make it worse? Somalia, Bosnia, Panama, Vietnam, Haiti, the list is long. I love my country and between my father, brother and myself have given over 70 years of service to her in three different branches of the Armed Services along with 5 wars. War has no winners, why is that so hard for humans understand? I was stationed in Okinawa during the 50 year anniversary, where I personally witnessed men on both sides breaking down crying and hugging one another. Been to Peace Park in Hiroshima where you can feel the horror. The buisness in the middle east was there long before you and I, and will be there long after were gone. For us it’s about OIL!
Was scoping a pension house in Dipolog today that looks sweeeeetttt! After my stay up your way, I’ll probably hit there or Dumaguete next! Of course a good part of the day was checking out the hottie Filipinas on youtube! :) Bikini contest are the best!
I thought about moving to Dumaguete, it seems to be the Dengue capital of the world. :) There is a little town up the mountain there that looked really interesting to me. And cooler.
Yes, we have bases but its not the same as when Rome or Nazi Germany or the Huns wentt in. We don’t stay long term and tax them too make ourselves rich. Yes we do want influence. We don’t force our rule on others. And we do ten to leave, if the people persist that we go. I think we should be sending them the bill more on that though, they ask us in and then ask us out.
We made Bosnia worse? How? I didn’t get that impression. Now we have, in the past, gone in and set up a dictator and wondered why that blew up in our faces. I don’t think we are doing that any more. I hope. I don’t think I agree we made those places worse. Well Vietnam we made worse because the civilians tried to run the war. Seems like we’ve learned that lesson, I hope.

Why ask when I can Google. :) It was John McCain. Seems more like a foot in mouth that Bush or Biden might pull off. LOL
