Letter to Barack Obama
Dear Mr. Obama,
Please keep your promises. I voted for you and even sent money to your campaign because of one major reason. You don’t take PAC Money and you don’t take Corporate money. All that other
money people sent you was a vote for you too.
Lobbyist`
So for me, under no circumstances should you hire lobbyist. You said you wouldn’t so please don’t. I’m tired of funding the oil companies and the pharmacies and the war machine. Now I’m a hawk, I want a stronger military than you probably do. I just don’t want the people building our tanks and supplying our troops forming policy because of the dollars they paid to your campaign or the stock that they hold. A blind trust is not good enough because it doesn’t appear that they have ever been truly blind.
Strong People In Your Cabinet
Everyone is talking about you’re surrounding yourself with people that will tell you when they don’t agree with you. Please make that true and do it in such a way that everyone knows it is happening. The American people have lost hope. They have lost their pride in country. I know, I had lost it too. I talk to more people that still don’t believe so you need to take bold steps to get the country’s attention.
When I worked, I’d argue with my boss but when the decision was made, I fully care it out. That’s the kind of people you need work with you.
Russia and The Cold War
Russia, they see us as an aggressor and we have been. How would we feel if Russia was putting misslies and radars in Canada and Mexico? We need to continue with a missile defense system but bring Russia in on it. Make another bold move. We can either work together or we can waste a lot of money in another arms race with no finish line.
Talk to America’s Enemies
And remember what you said, you said you’d talk to our enemies. Do that. Don’t buckle on that. If we don’t talk, our enemies have no choice but to attack. Lets give them a chance to talk to us and if they attack us, lets attack back.
I have big hopes in you. Already people are becoming less afraid to say they are liberals and on Fox news they were talking about conservative is not a bad word.
I still think the American People are smarter than most give us credit for. Its not just about the economy. We want our country back, we want our rights back, we want our honor back.
