My Newest Website

I have a new website up that I thought I would mention.  After doing some research I  noticed an  opportunity and need for a website about mortgage information.  You’re probably thinking there are a ton of mortgage sites out there and you’re right.  There certainly are.

Without giving to many of my secrets away, I’ll just say that I saw a sub-niche that wasn’t being addressed very well and I thought I’d try to fill it.  It is a bit of on experiment though.  So I’ll just have to see how it goes.

And as I usually do, I’m trying to write it so that a normal person can make sense out of some complicated stuff.  I’ve bought two homes so I have a little experience, not a lot but a little.  A good real estate agent means everything.  The first one I had was awful.  The second one I had was wonderful.   With the first one though, it was a brand new home and working with a builder is always a pain, well almost always.  My second agent said there would be no surprises and he was right, there were none.  Well, no major ones.  His name is Paul Turner if you’re ever looking for a home in Memphis, look him up.  I’m 100% certain you’ll be happy with him. He is a true professional.

Most people seem to think it is impossible to get a loan these days, but I don’t think they are correct.  At some point, the lenders are going to want to make loans where they previously turned people away.  If you can catch that upturn and hopefully it will coincide with an upturn in house prices as well, you’ll be in the drivers seat.

Housing is almost always a very good investment, especially if you look for the long term.  there is one significant risk with real estate, that is selling it can be difficult.  It usually takes time to find a buyer and that is considered an issue that increases risk.
