Obama Out of His League
I have sometimes been angry when Republicans try to put forth the idea that President Obama is out of his league. Last night, I heard it again and then I remember this man was also a supporter of the guy man that held up his left hand and said the right hand doesn’t know what the left hand is doing and then picked up his right hand when he mention the left hand. That is my favorite George Bush moment but also there was the ”mis-underestimate” moment. Here are a few other highly elitest moments from our former commander in chief. Someone the republican’s held up to be capable.
Now after watching that how much credibility do the Bush loving, Obama smashing elitist have? That’s right, the same people that claim the Democrats that go to Harvard and other Ivy League schools are now claiming that Obama is out of his league. They just can’t seem to make up their mind on which way to attack.
One of the biggest complaints on Obama’s last supreme court pick was that she went to Harvard. What would they prefer, a law degree from Bosnia or Boswania as George Bush pronounced it. Oh yea, Bush, now he was presidential.
In any case, this video is fun to watch. thank you David Letterman! Its better to have a laugh than let them get to me and now I’m laughing at them.

Hi Steven, I want to go back for a visit.
You are having trouble getting out?
Tell us more? Might be helpful for those trying to leave.
The Republicans only want things that suit themselves. The fact they look to attack Obama without anything to attack him about or for anything “He done” is a typical walk in the park for the Republicans. All that debt blame Obama!! nope.. it was left by Bush! I think most of the Republicans can only see as far as their noses and think as far as self benefit.
I remember when Obama got voted in and people asked me here what did I think I said wait 6 months.. not because I thought anything spectacular would happen but if he tried to keep things stable. Spectacular was all done in Bushes time that seen wars begin and debt rise.. and now its all blamed on Obama wonder how others would fair in such stormy seas..
Obama has added to the debt but the situation called for it. One would have to be foolish to actually wish this debt or high levels of spending. Its required.
Debt to GNP is all that matters not the raw numbers. I haven’t seen Fox News yelliing about that so I’m sure its not bad or they would.
If Obama found a cure for cancer, the Republicans would be against it.
After all, what can you expect from a group that choose a leader that said “If it feels good do it. If you’ve got a problem, blame someone else.” LOL That’s just too freaking much.
Perhaps that quote is taken out of content, I don’t know. As it is though, thank you letterman.
to underestimate obama and his real agenda’s would be a grave mistake! time will tell, lets talk about this again in a couple of yearshttp://www.csmonitor.com/USA/Politics/2010/0814/Obama-mosque-dispute-In-backing-plans-he-parts-with-many-Americans
bush/cheney were scoundrels no doubt but at least they were only mostly guilty of good ole american corruption/greed
btw i couldn’t tolerate watching bush on t.v. when he was in office,i sure don’t want to watch a vid now
I have followed the Mosque for months now. It angered me a great deal when I heard about it.
I WAS WRONG.
How dare me! They have every right to put that any place they want as long as it is in accord with local law. If one could put a Christian church then one can put a Mosque there. How dare me.
Those people were trying to get official sanction from New York. New York would be wrong to give it.
President Obama is a leader and he is doing an excellent job. he knows full well what he is opening himself up but GO OBAMA for doing the right thing.
Kill those that attacked us but we can’t start acting like them, if we do, they win..
obama may be doing a peachy job for someone but not for the u.s.!!! exactly in what area do you think he’s doing this fine job? the economy, foreign affairs? hmmm, maybe migration, the environment, blindly supporting a particular political party [my daddy was a democrat and i am too] or politician is foolish and also what got us into this mess, make no mistake about it the muslim community has a declared war against all infidels [nonbelievers] and in the name of religious freedom are able to set up war camps [mosque's] in our very midst. show me an example of a christian group actively waging war against the u.s. and i’ll denounce it too! why not go down to southern mindanao and show your religious tolerance
I think he’s doing a fine job for all of those and especially the US constitution. I’m not a Democrat.
Denounce the group, that’s fine. Denounce anyone but prevent their right to say it goes against what our country stands for.
Once you’re here, be careful what you denounce. You leave your freedom of speech behind when you enter the country.
I will likely write a story about that mosque. I think its a bad idea but I will defend someone’s right to make a poor choice. They claim to be building in the spirit of love. I think it will spur a lot of anger and hate but its still part of what the USA stands for, at least, as I was taught.
Basically, I believe in someone’s right to be wrong and it is my duty to accept what I do not agree with. If we don’t, if we regulate what we do not like then we are the same as the extremist that attacked us as that is precisely what they wish to do.
rusty,i agree i also admit i was out of line, opinion’s are like as+holes everybody’s got one and disagreeing in a hostile argumentative manner can never change that, again i sincerely apologize.ken
Its okay, this issue causes a lot of anger. I was so pissed off when I first learned about it, I hoped someone would blow it up!
Then due to a good leader, I saw how wrong I was. But that blow it up feeling is still there a little bit. That’s the primal side of me, the brain side says, you know its a really bad idea because of this anger it generates but we need to respond in a loving Christian manner to the hate that’s thrown at us.
We respond with force when and only when its called for. It might feel good in this situation but its just wrong. Let them do it, use it to be better than those that attack us. Hard but it should be at least the goal.
wow, I found some numbers on GNP. 2009 showed the largest shrinkage EVER including that of 1949!
Anyone who doesn’t think Obama is out of his league is either a dyed-in-the-wool Democrat, accepting whatever he says or does, or they simply don’t look at the facts. I personally gave Obama 6-9 months before his colors started showing, and they did, from people stunned at him winning the Nobel Peace Prize to fumbling international relations, including the naive campaign vision that Iran could be reached through reasonable dialog (blaming Bush again), to breaking numerous campaign promises, to steadily increasing the deficit – or government scientists saying 80% of the oil spill has been captured when it is the exact opposite.
18 months later, he can’t blame Bush anymore. He’s in charge and responsible for keeping his promises (or not). This is largely why he’s losing Independents on a daily basis. He’s a clever and astute politician that tracks opinion polls to deliver sound bites that appease the masses. Kerry was the same way and we saw what happened to him. The problem is, this only works for a short time.
Right now, Obama and his party are in deep water – and he is front and center of it, including this Mosque debate. November, when it happens, can’t be blamed on Bush ether. And, so it’s said, Bush definitely had some issues but the hour of using scapegoats in long over.
When power in Washington shifts, his colleagues will all be looking to cover their backs, as they are already doing. He will have made history. I just hope it will be for reasons that positively influence the direction and prosperity of our country.
Yeah that’s me, died in the wool democrat, you sure nailed me. Kind of hard to continue when you start out that wrong.
I’m sure no republican though. That’s for sure.
He was dead on with the mosque debate also. You’ll just love what I had to say about that :)
Hey Gil, I’m curious do you think Shara :”The Quitter” Palain is presidential material? She’s gonna run.
