Freak Storm In Bogo City

If I seem to be missing in action, it is because we had a freak storm in Bogo City this morning. Winds came out of no place and knocked all the lights in the city out and blew down some trees, some that made it through Typhoon Frank.

I have been offline today because of that. We have had no electricity. I’m at an internet cafe now. Mostly to cool off. The temperature was abnormally low all day today and here at the cafe many Pinoy are wearing light jackets. Its about 27C or well above 75F. I suppose when your use to 80F it seems cold to them. I’m still hot. i need to returned to walking more as I finally am back to myself, I hope.

While Dining In The Philippines

While dining at our favorite spot tonight, the BBQ by The Bogo City Bay we ran into a group of children that were begging. Nothing unusual about that but you do see it less in Bogo City than you do in the bigger cities of the Philippines.

Check out the entire story about hungry children on my Cebu Experience blog.

A few hours later I thought i had drank too much caffeine and was going for some xanax only to realize that it wasn’t nerves, my sugar was bad, really bad. It was at 60 which isn’t horrible but it felt horrible and considering the amount of sugar I had to take in to get it back up to only 93 it was a major crash. I just got on it quickly. So it went from 350+ to 60 in about six hours. I didn’t walk before the blood sugar crash either.
