Saints Peter and Paul Church at Bantayan Island

As many of you know, I try to visit and photograph one church in the Philippines each month. Last month I went to the nearly 500 year old church on Bantayan Island.

The church and island has some interesting history but I'm not going to repeat that here. If you'd like to see the pictures and read what I learned about it please visit

Ate Until I’m Blind

Blurred Vision

Woke up this morning blind. Well close to it. I think I had too much fun yesterday but it was pretty mild fun. I had probably four beers, maybe five over six to eight hours. Had some pizza, okay way too much pizzza and some susauge that wasn't all that great but only because I prefer mine cooked more than most people do. I also had one big of fat cigar which I paid P100 for which is a lot of money. Oh, I get to be a rich guy once a week. :) Well pretend anyway. It gives me a better buzz than the beer. Though mild vices, I guess they are more than my body can handle well. Waking up blind is a bad sign. LOL

Philippine Photos December 2008

I've made my pictures taken during December of 2008 available for viewing. I take my camera with me nearly every time I walk out of the door. My not doing so is unusual. I did intentionally leave it behind once and shocked Jessie.

You can see living in Cebu in pictures full screen by clicking on the PicLens Option. I highly recommend you use that option. Not only do I enjoy taking pictures, I hope they will show what living in Cebu is like in a way words can never accomplish.

Christmas Photos on Cebu Experience

I posted twelve pictures mostly taken on Christmas eve. They are of the boys making their Christmas stockings, something I did when I was about Jason's age.

There are some pictures of Christmas decorations of the type I've only seen in the Philippines but think they have a bit of Chinese and Spanish influence about them
