When the elections where going this blog was booming. I love politics. I love to watch it and watch the power struggles and see how the chess game unfolds. It goes much further than government, it’s about civilization. I have a long history of being concerned about a majority imposing its will on the minority. An often unjust and short sighted will.
When we set a precedent by majority alone, we don’t see how another majority could take away what the majority wanted in the first place.. This idea of majority rules is a fallacy. That’s not what our country is about. It is about protecting the rights of everyone as all men are created equal. You shouldn’t be imposing your values on me.

On Friday morning, the stock market was again headed downward. Shortly after Timothy Geithner was leaked as Obama’s probable pick for the Secretary of Treasury cabinet post, the stock market made a made a strong rally.
