About a month ago, Bob Martin web developer of Live In The Philippines.com and several other sites left a comment on the site and sent me an email. I noticed his email address was that of a Philippine province dot com which immediately got my attention. I thought it must have been some kind of shared domain but he actually owned it. Which told me he’d been around for a while and grabbed up a lot of the better domains.

Learning More about Web Development

I’ve been making some changes on the website and getting into some deeper HTML, XHTML, PHP and CSS than I have ever gone before. I’m not making a lot of progress with it and it is keeping me away from the most important part of any website, that is adding post to it.

In the long run, I will be far better off for it though. I’ll be able to better manipulate how m sites display the content. I need to add JavaScript to what I’m learning well.

Blowing Up Websites

I blew up a website today. Stuff happens. It happens to everyone. I tried to install a sitemap generator that wasn’t created for the version of Joomla I was using and boom. After I enabled it the only thing the site would display is NO ACCESS. After piddling around with it for a few minutes and making no progress, i went to Fantastico and hit the remove button and reinstall it. Hopefully…
